MODEL INFORMATION

Please check out my page on model grooming.

https://zairia.wordpress.com/zairias-photography/testing-2/model-grooming/

If you have ever wanted to enter into world of modeling and never knew quite how to start, send us your model submission. If accepted, we will test you with a makeup artist. I will only contact models that are accepted.

Testing: Interested models need to be commercially viable and extremely well groomed and have good skin and hair. We will be doing natural and maybe some extreme beauty looks. Please look up model grooming on my blog.

Please send me recent color photos of yourself, unedited / non-photo shopped images preferred. Submissions should be in digital jpeg format and show a variety of poses including full figure and face shots. The photos don’t need to be shot by a professional, but they should be clear, in focus, and not too dark. Facebook links are also acceptable.

I will need your sizes (xs,s, m), a head shot and full length shot, your stats and shoe size. I will also need to know your limitations. (ex: implied, lingerie, etc)

If you’re interested please respond with the following: your name, your contact information, a link to your portfolio or Facebook page, the best time to reach you and your availability. I plan shoots through a phone call or Facebook so please leave me your number when you contact me through Facebook. I will want to see at least one smiling photo of you. Responses without this information will be ignored or deleted.

You can message me through my Facebook.

Please Eat: We normally do 3 to 4 looks in a day. Please eat before you arrive at your shoot. You may also want to bring a snack with you. The “I’m getting ready to pass out look” is generally not a good look on anyone although I may shoot it for giggles. I usually start at 11:00 a.m. and go to 5:00 or 5:30 p.m. so plan for a long day.  Breaks consist of when you are in the makeup chair and when we are changing up lighting, so not your typical break. I generally don’t break for “lunch.”

Be on Time: Please be on time and be considerate to everyone involved. Their time is just as valuable as yours. My shoots usually consist of a makeup artist, a hair stylist, and assistant/assistants, so if you are more than 15 minutes late without a phone call, your shoot will be canceled. If you’ve never been here before, plan accordingly.

Cell Phones: Please let someone know you have arrived and call them again when you leave. Otherwise, unless it’s an emergency, please put your cell phone away. Constantly being on your cell phone is distracting and rude to everyone involved and makes me think you don’t want to be here.

Energy & Fun: I like to have fun on my shoots! The higher the energy level, the higher my creative process gets, which makes for better photos. So come prepared to work hard and to have fun. It’s ok to be you here. I prefer it.

VIDEO: I plan on incorporating more video into my shoots this year.
